Pylon Signage

A pylon sign, derived from the word "pillar," is a large, freestanding structure that typically serves as a directional sign or advertising display. As the name suggests, pylon signs are designed to resemble towering pillars, making them highly visible and effective at guiding or informing people from a distance. These signs are commonly used for direction poles along roads, highways, and large commercial complexes, helping people find specific locations or businesses.

Pylon signs are primarily constructed using Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) or acrylic sheets, both of which provide strength, durability, and a sleek, professional look. ACP sheets are made of two thin layers of aluminum with a non-aluminum core, making them lightweight yet sturdy, perfect for outdoor use. This material ensures the sign is resistant to environmental wear and tear, such as rust and fading, while offering a modern, clean aesthetic.

Acrylic sheets are also commonly used in the construction of pylon signs due to their ability to allow light to pass through, creating illuminated effects. This is particularly useful when the sign needs to be backlit or front-lit to ensure high visibility during the night or in low-light conditions.

To provide structural integrity and support, Mild Steel (MS) frames and base plates are commonly used in pylon signs. These materials ensure that the sign remains stable and securely fixed to the ground, even in adverse weather conditions such as high winds. The combination of durable materials ensures that pylon signs have a long lifespan and require minimal maintenance.
